除了第一場對BlueJays外, 接下來兩場王建民都讓對方第一棒在首局就上壘, 不過這場王建民渡過前兩局不穩之後就掌控全場Seattle Mariners的攻勢; 看來捕手的搭配是有影響.(第1、3場捕手是John Flaherty, 第2場是Jorge Posada.)

第八局王建民被總教練換下場後, 回休息室途中, 球迷給予熱烈掌聲, 我認為王建民應該向球迷揮手致意, 或許內向是王建民的特色吧!
